Salvador Andrades

BIOGRAFÍA

Salvador Andrades nace en La Bajadilla  (Algeciras-Cádiz),  un barrio marcado por la guitarra,  donde vió la luz por primera vez Paco de Lucía.

Su primer profesor fue Paco Martín, y posteriormente se formó con Andrés Rodríguez y Pepe Fernández, todos conocidos guitarristas del Campo de Gibraltar (Cádiz). Durante varios años fue alumno de Don Antonio Sánchez (padre de Paco de Lucía).

Año 1976: debut como solista a los doce años.

Año 1977: guitarrista en la serie de programas titulada “Nocturno Andaluz” de la Cadena Ser.

Año 1978: componente del cuadro flamenco “Vuelo blanco” en el festival internacional de música celebrado en Saouira (Marruecos) y diversos festivales en toda Andalucía.

Año 1981 guitarrista del cantaor “Camarón de la Isla” en varios festivales de flamenco.

Año 1984: participación en la película rodada en marruecos “El último verano en Tánger” de producción hispano-francesa y varios reportajes sobre flamenco para distintas televisiones internacionales.

Año 1997: guitarrista del dúo “La Plata” representando a España en el festival de la OTI celebrado en Lima (Perú) y posterior gira por la geografía española.

Año 1998: guitarrista de la banda sonora de la película “La máscara del Zorro” de Antonio banderas, dirigida por James Horner (autor de la banda sonora de “Titanic”).

Años 2000/ 01/ 02: giras en Japón con el grupo Albarracín de San Roque (Cádiz).

Año 2002: festival nacional de folklore de Almagro (Ciudad Real) y festival internacional de folklore en el teatro romano de Mérida.

Años 2003 a 2007 conciertos organizados por la Delegación de Turismo Andaluz (Junta de Andalucía) en ciudades como Barcelona, Madrid, Zaragoza y Valencia entre otras.

Año 2008: conciertos en Lisboa (Portugal) y gira durante el verano en Irlanda junto a José Parra (cantaor) con conciertos en el National Concert Hall (Dublín) y en el Opera House de Belfast entre otros.

Año 2009: conciertos en Lodz (Polonia).

Año 2010 conciertos durante el mes de Agosto en Irlanda.

Año 2011 Concierto de música andalusí con la Orquesta Chekara de Tetuán en Villanueva de la Vera (Cáceres).

Año 2011 actuaciones en Irlanda, Portugal y participación en el V Festival Internacional de Folklore de Praga (República Checa).

Año 2011 inauguración teatro Florida de Algeciras con el espectáculo “La voz del agua” en colaboración con el músico Chico Valdivia.

Año 2013 Conciertos en Kazajistán, Reino Unido y Portugal. Conciertos en el Gaiety Theatre de Dublín con el Ballet Nacional de Irlanda en la adaptación de la opera de Carmen de Bizet/ Concierto en el Instituto Cervantes de Dublín/ MasterClass sobre la música flamenca en el Newpark Music Center de Dublín.

Año 2014 Conciertos en el Berts Jazz Club en Belfast (Irlanda del Norte)/ Conciertos en el Sadler´s Wella Theatre de Londres con el Ballet Nacional de Irlanda en la adaptación de la opera de Carmen de Bizet/ Concierto en el Epsom Playhouse Theatre (Inglaterra) con el pianista Aarón Monteverde. En el mes de noviembre, conferencia sobre la guitarra flamenca y Paco de Lucía en Algeciras.

Año 2015 Conciertos en las ciudades de Querétaro, México DF y Cancún en México entre los meses de enero y febrero.

Año 2016 Conciertos en México, concierto y masterclass en peña flamenca de Copenhague (Dinamarca), concierto en Estrasburgo (Francia) y participación en el certamen de música étnica Tribe of Doris en Inglaterra.

Presentación del espectáculo Eternos en el IV Encuentro Internacional de Guitarra Paco de Lucía.

Ha formado parte de la organización del Encuentro Internacional de Guitarra Paco de Lucía en Algeciras desde el año 2014 hasta el 2017.

Año 2017 Director musical y compositor de la música del espectáculo Amor en libertad del bailaor David Morales, que se estrenó en el teatro Teresa Carreño de Caracas (Venezuela) los días 19, 20 y 21 de diciembre.

Año 2018 Concierto titulado Paco... infinito, homenajea Paco de Lucía en el teatro Florida de Algeciras en conmemoración del día de su nacimiento.

Año 2019 Pregonero de la feria real de Algeciras.

Conciertos, organizados por el Instituto Cervantes, con el bailoar David Morales en distintas ciudades de Inglaterra, entre ellas, Liverpool y Manchester, además de dos conferencias de flamenco en las universidades de dichas ciudades. Actuación en The Cavern, Liverpool, presentación por primera vez de flamenco en el templo de The Beatles.

Experiencia profesional como docente: profesor de guitarra flamenca durante más de 40 años.

BIOGRAPHY

Salvador Andrades was born in La Bajadilla (Algeciras-Cádiz), a neighborhood marked by the guitar, where Paco de Lucía first saw the light of day.
